For the first time, Ms. PacMan and Galaga, two of the industry's "Greatest Hits," are available in one dedicated cabinet. These two games are unquestionably the two longest running hits in the history of video games! After 20 years, they are still a "must have" for all locations.

Shown here is the compact Cabaret-style cabinet - the perfect size for most gamerooms.  The exterior of the cabinet appears as a combination of the original games. One half of the cabinet features Ms. PacMan side panel graphics, while the other features Galaga graphics. The front of the cabinet, the marquee, control panel, and game instructions are a delightful blend of the two classics.  It's set for free play, of course.

The game play is identical to the original versions, but Namco has thrown in a number of enhancements.  They've included operator-selectable features such as "regular" or "speedy" Ms. PacMan, and "original" or "rapid fire" Galaga.  There's even a feature that did not exist 20 years ago player buy-in continuation mode. This too is operator selectable. Players will have their choice of playing Ms. PacMan, Galaga, and rumor has it that the original PacMan is in the game as well.

Why bring back these hits from the past?  With the recent explosion in home gamerooms, more and more people are looking for these classic games.  But bringing a 20-year old video arcade game into your home is not for everyone, and finding a clean and 100% working specimen can be a real challenge.  You may have noticed that there are still Ms. PacMan and Galaga games still out there on locations, but how beat up the hardware had become. Burned in monitors, trashed cabinets, irreperable boards... Would it be possible for Namco to re-release the games that they needed?  The answer, thankfully, is YES!  Namco wanted to uphold the integrity of the original cabinet, so who better to partner with than the same group of guys who built the originals? The games are being assembled at Grand Products, as they were. Ms. PacMan and Galaga together it doesn't get any better than this!
